Is LeBron really the best? A question in Yahoo! news I found today off of one of the blogs that can be found here:

This and other rants I have been hearing lately from around sports coverage about the MVP and the CAVS. I don’t think that people give the Cleveland Basketball team enough credit. They have lost a couple games most recently a game to the Celtics sure, but really fourth best roster in the NBA with the best record? I don’t think so. I think the CAVS may have got a little lazy here in the playoffs and toward the end of the regular season, but I know they have some more wins in them.

I wrote the first part of this entry before the game last night where the Cavaliers had on several occasions had a lead of 30 points or more. LeBron made more points than the Celtics did in the first quarter of the game in Boston.

The Game was amazing to watch, primarily because its the playoffs, its in Boston, and its with a LeBron James who has been nursing a sore elbow. He has had at least 2 MRI(s) done on it to figure out the extent of the injury.

I am sure if you follow sports, you would know what has been going on with him, but the Doctor’s determined that he had a bone bruise, and a strained tendon on the same arm.

This made the psychology of the Game quite interesting, it almost looked as though the Cavaliers were playing basketball with a High school team!

I know this is a bit harsh or extreme but LeBron silenced the crowd after the shots that the Celtics were able to make by shooting some simple jump shots. The game finally ended with the Celtics 29 points behind the Cavaliers.

The press coverage after a single loss in Cleveland has been heavily weighted toward the Celtics, now I can imagine that the press will waffle back to the Cavaliers bandwagon

I was listening to ESPN radio yesterday before the game where Colin Cowherd, and remembering Him say that the Celtics, Magic, and Lakers were the three deepest teams in the NBA, that the Cavaliers are a fraud.

I heard him say that the Magic had managed to combine for 4 guys in one game to score 20 points or more.

He said the LeBron and the Cavaliers had only done that one time since He started playing professional basketball in Cleveland.

I think that the Cavaliers do not need to have 4 guys scoring 20 points or more, they distribute the points differently and their offense is ran in a different way.

The Cavaliers have a defensive mindset and they have one major scoring machine who can pass the ball in amazing ways.

They don’t need to have 4 guys combine for 20 points or more for each guy, because of LeBron who scores on average 29.8, or 29.9, or whatever.

I have seen him score well over 40 points a game when the pressure is on.

Very few guys have the capacity to produce points like LeBron. He could be the greatest player to have played the game, likely the greatest since MJ

This one I found pretty funny:

Since his visit to Cleveland: Pistons say Rodney Stuckey will not play Wednesday vs. Jazz

I’m re-watching the Cavs play the Pistons again. The night of this game I was watching it on our DVR of course, and fell asleep. When I woke up I saw a sight not often seen on public television, the night of Coach Brown’s 40th birthday, March 5th 2010.

After Collapsing Stuckey reportedly breathing on his own.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you Rodney, we felt bad when we saw the stretcher come in and them carry you off the court.

This game was unique to me in that, I saw both teams praying together on two different occasions for the health of another player. LeBron James mentioned that it is moments like that when the players on the court and teams become a family (or something to that effect).

This just like so many games I’ve seen the Cavs play keeps my attention until I surrender to my eyelids anyway. I think the Pistons are a good team considering they kept ahead of the Cavs for awhile in the first and second quarter.

The most notable things about this game were the concern for Stuckey and the come from behind victory of the Cavs.

Oh and by the way before I forget, happy belated 40th birthday Coach Brown.
