How would you change Apple’s unibody MacBook?

I would change the MacBook into two different product lines (one that is like a netbook) available to new customers at AT&T at a discounted rate much like brand new customers at AT&T can get an iPhone at a discounted rate. I think the model of MacBook could be a generation behind that of the most up to date model, which would help save apple some cash.
I would love to get a MacBook but cannot afford one at the moment, but making a macbook (with a constant internet connection) available from AT&T would give OS X users something to think about in the realm of computers of that spec.
